It was all my local supermarket had in, and after reading a few reviews online i was hesitant to have a go but as soon as i gave the pouch a good nosing it all changed. Packed it, lit it and really enjoyed it. I cannot really tell what the flavour is other than bloody lovely. Burns hot and doesnt struggle to stay lit. Lovely stuff, smoking everyday in the 'ode corn cob.


Ive smoked Clan ever since my dad allowed me to share his pouch some 40 yrs ago. One of the best things he ever did for me and there has been some great things we have shared together, god bless his soul. I have tried other tobaccoes but I have always gone back to Clan, and as for Johns remark its just personnal taste. Gareth on Aptil 15th 2023.

Of all the pipe tobaccos Ive tried and I must admit its few Clan is my favourite the other is Erin more its a real nice smoke as well as pleasant aroma keeps me puffing away for a good couple of hours to tell the truth try for your self if you can get it these days kind of proves my point as lots of others must be smoking it as well as its hard to come by well that all enjoy and Ill leave you with a booya ( thats my way of saying good)gary


This is a rather fast and hot burning tobacco, its got plenty of flavour going for it. Although, I find that if you mix it with some "American black cherry" or "Mellow virginia" or "American Vanilla" pipe tobaccos, you will find that if you mix it properly 50/50 mix You will find it smokes alot slower, its not so hot and you get some extra flavours also. But if you want to smoke it on its own then thats fine too. Regards Dave
