Were we smoking the same cigar? Plus points: easy draw and a burn rate so even and precise that it could have been designed by a German engineer. But sadly those are the only good things I have to say. The taste was uniform throughout - a uniform flavour of bitter leather and not much else. I regret buying a box of 10. What to do with the other nine? Anyone want them? All in all a most unpleasant experience.

I have to congratulate c.gars for this fine cigar, it is well constructed and tastes amazing especialy as I have a sweet tooth, good burn easy draw good white ash and it will be a good introduction for a beginner, I will be coming back for more

OK, not a Cuban and it lacks that certain cachet, but at £7 for a Robusto I am prepared to take a small side-trip to the mainland. An above average smoke at an unbeatable price.

This is one fine smoke. Well constructed, full flavoured, fine open draw, plenty of smoke, and it develops all the way down. My current benchmark sticks are the Partagas Serie D No.4 and they Bolivar Royal Corona and it gives them both a run. There is spice and black pepper in there but no ammonia or bitterness in the final third. I'll be buying a couple more singles and if they are as good as this one, then its a box of 10. I don't know how they'd age but they are smoking beautifully right now. If you like them full flavoured, then give this one a go.

Really nice flavour. Lots of smoke. Excellent value.
