This is the first of these unusual Islay malts to have been distilled this millennium, being filled into refill American oak hogsheads and refill European oak butts in the year 2000.

Nose: Very creamy with subtle citrus, hints of butterscotch with sweets lingering in the background.

Palate: Warming with delicious toffee and chocolate with fresh fruit. Big and thick, spice lingers.

Finish: Milk chocolate and soft oak provide a clean finish.
