CAO Flathead Carb 660 Cigar - 1 Single (End of Line)

Wonderful stick. Dark, rich wrapper, good draw with just the right amount of resistance. Good, sharp burn, firm ash, excellent smoke output. Nice spice on the retro-hale. No touch ups or re-lights, an excess of two hours smoking time for each stick. One thing to bear in mind is that in my opinion, beacuse of the "flat head" (or cap) these sticks are best cut with a punch. I've smoked four of these beauties and just ordered four more. If they prove to be as good its a box.

This is the second review of this cigar, and I have to say compared to the previous cigar I had it's night and day..this one had been in my humidor a few weeks longer no issues with that...But on lighting this one after I used a punch cut could not get any draw out of it, I ,ade the hole slightly bigger with another punch still no draw..! Decided to just take it easy but after the first inch of getting hardly no smoke or flavours investigated further....there was three huge knots in this stick one about two inches from the foot one just about centre and one at the cap end..I let it burn though the first one .still no draw so I gently rolled between my fingers to try loosen it....didn't work I then tried a cigar poke from the cap end I managed to get some smoke out of it but still very tight.....then it started to unravel I discovered it only had half a cap on it...I kept my fingers on it and slid the lose Label down to try and prevent it coming completely undone....then I hit the second lump which spilt and bust the cigar open this was very messy I continued with it as was still a lot of cigar left and after spending £15 pound on it didn't wanna just throw it away got a little bit of smoke after touching it up with lighter but this vas very difficult due to the expanding of it was clearly over stuffed and twisted...it got very bitter and tasted like an old ashtray...it was still fairly cool not over heated but I gave up with over three inches left on it...shame because I really like this blend but this was a very bad example..probably the worst constructed cigar I have had will a multitude of problems...still got 3 in the humidor hope this are better and I just got a bum one...!

Beautiful dark wrapper cigar,a firm pack but felt like fine leather car seat, a lot bigger than others I usually smoke, but the flat head made it more manageable, rich sweet smoke,dark fruits at the start, creamy coco, a sweet earth the last 3rd was a caramel coffee, slight nutty leather, took me nearly two hours to smoke I never got bored of it, I used a punch put two holes together, nice draw,will buy more of these, thanks cigars.
