The Micro Provenance series is an exploratory series of single cask whiskies that showcase the pedigree, complexity, and diversity of individual casks.

This release has been matured in virgin oak that imparts a bold, spicy character to this powerful, cask strength Bruichladdich.

This UK exclusive release comprises just 300 bottles and is bottles at an impressive (if slightly intimidating) 61% ABV.

 
 
 

Tasting Notes

 
Nose: Big and fresh, with juicy fruit from peaches, apricots, lemon with fresh cream and a floral note. 
 
Palate: Light but aromatic floral arrival, orange blossom, then some warmth coming through. Cereal, barley, barley sugar, wool, some mineral lemon juice. 
 
Finish: More orange, more floral with elderflower and more building spiciness-Some hot white pepper with more mineral stoniness.
