Boveda 50 Count Humidor Starter Kit

This starter kit is used for humidors which have up to 50 cigar capacity. 

Boveda is a two-way humidity control technology specifically designed for desktop humidors. Boveda is allowing consumers, for the first time, to properly maintain and age their cigars in their own home and at their desired level of relative humidity (RH). Use one Boveda packet for every 25 cigars your humidor can hold. You can expect each Boveda will last approx 2-4 months depending on conditions and humidor quality.

There is still a lot of uncertainty in the marketplace on how to properly season a humidor. Wiping with water can do the trick but is far from precise and carries the risk of warping the cedarwood lining on the inside.

The Humidor Starter Kit is a one-stop solution and offers a convenient jump into the world of Boveda without mess nor worries.

Simply place the correct number of Boveda packets inside your humidor to maintain a precise relative humidity.

Each Boveda packet consists of a specially prepared saturated solution of pure water and natural salt. This saturated solution is contained within a water-vapor permeable “reverse osmosis” membrane. Within a closed desktop humidor Boveda maintains a predetermined level of (RH) by releasing or absorbing purified water-vapor as needed through the membrane.
