I was very disappointed with this cigar. I kept it in the humidor for 6 months before sparking it up and I found it to be quite bland. A bit of woodiness and leather tannins but little else. Certainly not awful, just incredibly boring and rather forgettable.
Totally plugged, tried everything to rescue it but unsmokeable, what little flavour ( and believe me it was very little) I did get was uninspiring and one dimensional. Very disappointed, will not buy again :-(
A tight draw, not quite to my taste, a dark, woody, peppery taste to begin with. As time went on, the taste becomes complex and more enjoyable. Not as good as I was hoping.
A lovely mild and smooth smoke, i had it with a glass of hoebeg (over ice i may add - shoot me down!).
As others have commented its a 30/40 minute smoke, which i enjoyed so much i'll be buying a few more!
