Cù Bòcan Creation #1 was aged in Black Isle Brewery Imperial Stout and Bacalhôa Moscatel De Setúbal Wine Casks .
This whisky provides an intriguing balance of big, chocolatey beer notes and rich, fruity wine, all backed up by lightly peated single malt.
Nose: Espresso beans, red apples, roasted barley and shortbread.
Palate: Buttered apples, walnut, cedar, dark chocolate bitterness and a hint of prune.
Finish: Summer berry tart with a drizzle of chocolate sauce. Subtle whiffs of smoke.
