Thr Cask Strength Vintage single malt is a firm favourite among our friends of Benromach, released in small batches and bottled at their natural cask strength.
The Cask Strength Vintage 2014, Batch 02, offers a “direct from the cask” experience transporting you into one of our traditional dunnage warehouses.
This release has matured in exclusively first-fill bourbon and Sherry casks, which brings rich Sherry and cinnamon aromas, with orange and stewed fruit flavours, finishing with a touch of smoke.
Nose: Sweet vanilla aromas leading to fruitcake, brown sugar, spicy ginger, cinnamon, milk chocolate, and oak.
Palate: Creamy and spicy with stewed plum, Seville orange, cracked black pepper, toasted oak, and subtle liquorice.
Finish: Long and full with lingering smoke and a hint of aniseed.
