The Clos des Mouches of Joseph Drouhin comes from a hillside vineyard facing south.
The winemakers put their hives at this place before. Bees were call flies before, hence the name of the place, "La Mouche".
Produced on six and a half hectares, this prestigious white wine made with Chardonnay selections.
The aromas remind honey, almond and lemongrass with, ageing, intense flavours of hazelnut and roasted almond. It is very persistent in the mouth.
