Absolutely hopeless. It may be a "bargain" in price, but not in use. I tried it on a variety of gauges, most of which I had to then save with a regular cutter. Don't waste even your small amount of money on this.
Not a bad product for the price. It has a nice weight to it I thought. The blade is nice and sharp. It does the job. You might struggle to use it on a 50+ ring gauge cigar.
Bought these as a way of trying a V cut. Cutters are Cheap but effective - Slides nicely and cuts very well considering the price - Cut a nice V into my Juan Lopez which is of the larger cigars. Would 100% recommend.
