Ballindalloch Aberdeen Angus 150th Anniversary - 50% 70cl

Ballindalloch is one of the World's few remaining single-estate producers, and they are equally well-known for their pedigree herd of Aberdeen Angus cattle.

Theirs is the oldest such herd in the world, and they are a vital part of maintaining the sustainability and circular nature of Ballindalloch's single malt production. 

This bottling was crafted in honour of the 150th Anniversary of The Aberdeen-Angus Cattle Society's Herd Book, which has featured the Ballindalloch herd each year. 

This special single malt has been crafted by marrying whiskies matured in first-fill ex-Sherry and first-fill ex-Bourbon casks.

The result is a balanced and expressive release, combining richness, depth, and structure in a style that reflects both the distillery’s character and the estate’s integrated way of working.

Nose: Fruit salad, ripe bananas and a hint of tangerine with some time open to air.

Palate: Vanilla, milk chocolate and more fruit. Almost like a chocolate-covered raisin!

Finish: Long with pleasant wood tannins coating the mouth.
