AVO

Every cigar is a careful arrangement that mirrors the unexpected finesse of Avo's music – complex, layered, effortlessly smooth and infinitely approachable. Each a virtuoso performance, that elevates the cigar maker's craft into the realm of art. From his flair for improvisation, to his passion for travel and infinite enthusiasm for life, AVO cigars are truly a reflection of Avo... the man.

SYNCRO NICARAGUA

As the first in AVO's Syncro Series, AVO Nicaragua is truly a one-of-a-kind experience. One that begins on the remote island of Ometepe; a unique landscape where a rare and exceptional tobacco is grown. Known for its wild character and peppery notes, they carefully fuse this tobacco with earthy flavours from their estate in the Dominican Republic. The composition is an experience that is perfectly in sync with the moments worth sharing.

More Info

Capturing sweet and spicy flavours from the rich, volcanic soil of Nicaragua and blending them with the soft, creamy notes of the finest Dominican leaves. Resulting in a smooth and balanced box-pressed cigar with unexpected depth and complexity.

93 /100

"...There are a lot of "firsts" for the Avo Syncro Nicaragua brand. It's the first regular-production Avo to be box pressed. It's the first regular-production box-pressed cigar to ever come out of Davidoff of Geneva's factory in the Dominican Republic. And, as is indicated in the name, it's also the first Avo to use Nicaraguan tobacco. The name is also meant to suggest synchronization between the different tobaccos in the blend, which include Nicaraguan tobacco from Ometepe and Dominican tobacco types such as Piloto Cubano, San Vicente and a hybrid tobacco spawn from Piloto and Olor. The Toro's blocky dimensions and smart blending allow each tobacco to express itself, showing notes of leather, minerals and a dried apricot sweetness..."

This is a truly wonderful cigar. Silky smooth but interesting enough so as not to be boring. Feels great in the hand. Effortless draw. I really appreciated this cigar, even as a beginner.

Have to agree with Rhys on this one. A very easy draw and a long, long smoke. Packaging is amazing! Definitely been added to my favourites!

Definitely an unsung behemoth of the cigar world. Beautifully presented in its decorated metal tube, with hinged lid. Opening-up and unwrapping reveals a marvellously engineered stick with a satisfyingly oily wrapper, often associated with expensive Cuban varieties. Very pleasing to the eye and easily balanced between the fingers, due to its uniquely shaped body. Looks fantastic in the cigar-smokers mouth due to its massively imposing size. Its fragrant odour belies it relatively budget cost. Flaming-up and drawing gives a massive tobacco hit and the associated pleasant light-headedness with which one would expect from a stick of this size. Believe me, the smoke expelled from this mother, with even a small exertion, is enough to rival the most powerful modern electronic vaper...Very satisfying. The resultant pearly white ash was held extremely well, after numerous silky smooth inhalations. Conclusion: if you enjoy the smooth, easy draw associated with big cigars, lots of smoke and a lot of silky-smooth taste, but like me, dont have the disposable income to buy a big Cuban every week, try one of these. you WILL NOT be disappointed.
