Tried this on a recommendation. A decent smoke for the price. I found the draw very loose and the burn quick which is great if you haven’t got a lot of time, but not so if you want to savour the smoke. Flavour wise, I got mainly earthy and a grassy taste with it getting slightly bitter in the last third. A decent smoke for when you don’t have a lot of time.


1. Appearance & Construction. From the outset this looked like a beautiful cigar. Lovely dark brown wrapper, smooth to touch with no visible blemishes. Tobacco looked like it had been packed with care and filled to perfection. Cigar had a nice weight to it. Label looked outstanding against the darkness of the cigars body. The boxed shape press of the cigar looked real elegant. 15 points. 2. Flavor & Aroma. Cigar let itself down here. It had a slightly weak aroma when sniffing it out of the polythene sleeve. Had a vague whiff of earthiness and coffee but that was about it. After pre light and during the course of the smoke the flavor was amplified and was really strong. There was hints of almost floral notes before the leather, coffee, earthiness took hold. Towards the 2nd 3rd there was a spicy pepperyness that awoken. Did find this a bit too strong for my liking. Flavor didnt mellow at all, just kept getting stronger and stronger, but at no point did it get bitter. 17 points. 3. Smoking Characteristics. Cutting and lighting this cigar came with ease, but within the 1st 3rd the burn was uneven, and this continued during the course of the smoke. No amount of touching up helped solve this problem. The draw was effortless and produced a lovely plume of smoke. Ash was dark grey and rolled off without any problems. 16 points. 4. Overall experience. Unfortunately I didnt enjoy this cigar as much as I thought I would. Wasnt really enjoyable as I spent so much time trying to fix the uneven burn. Who knows, maybe on another day this wouldve been amazing. Did get a good 47mins out of this cigar. 20 points. Total 68 points.


Ive had in the humidor for 3mnths and it was worth the wait. great smoke, full, rich flavours, consistent draw and burn. will buy again.


Oh Dear. What a disappointment after buying two of these from your Chester shop. Unfortunately it was like smoking a piece of cardboard paper. No flavour, no smell, only a paper taste left in my mouth. Also kept going out, had to keep lighting up. Finally the oval shape was strange and difficult to hold cigar.

