The Ashton Pipe brand was created on 1983 by pipe maker Bill Ashton-Taylor and the renowned pipe aficionado R D Field. The following year Robert Levin, following discussion with R D Field, named his new cigars Ashton based on the excellent reputation built by Ashton pipes.

Having created some of the finest pipes and cigars in the world the next step for Ashton was the highest possible quality of pipe tobacco.

I wrote a long, thought provoking and i would go as far to say revolutionary review on this tobacco that would of shaped all tobacco reviews for generations to come ....... But i deleted it by accident so this new one shall suffice. Its good, i like.


New pipe smoker. Have tried this and find it very aromatic and a nice easy smoke. Have put this on repeat order

A pleasant tropical fruit aroma with hints of hickory nuts. Easy to light and burns even and quite cool, advisable to be smoked slowly. Overall a nice aromatic blend to be enjoyed peacefully - typical for a rainy day scenario. Michael - C.Gars Ltd
