Archers Very Special Old Light 1960s Whisky - 70cl

A very interesting vintage whisky, dating back to the 1970s, blended and bottled for Mc Caffery & Son by The Glenlivet Distillers Ltd for the Italian market, now long lost in the midst of 30 years.

Interestingly this old blend prides itself on the character of being light and gentle, with the rear label boasting 'That's the Light!', how times have changed!

Please note as this is a vintage whisky, conditions of bottle/label and liquid level can vary.

Nose: Open dry, first nose - flowers, mineral water and fresh chopped vegetables. 

Palate: Dense, rich, sweet-mineral, rubber, caramel, herbal notes, sulfuric-metallic shades, cola, exploding caramel.

Finish: Mineral, sulfur-metal, sweet-sour, refreshing.
