A fine plastic cutter. I am in agreement with the other reviewers, it is sharp as a razor and feels more expensive than it is! I personally have never had an eighty gauge cigar but, I know if I did I have this bad boy here. It cuts my robusto cigars with ease and evenly, so all in al I’m happy. Well worth the price and for the quality.

