A limited edition bottling from Aberlour, this was distilled in 1964, and bottled 25 years later at 43% ABV.
Aberlour’s whisky is the single biggest selling single malt in France, and the seventh biggest worldwide.
It has reached this level by being the go-to for fans of heavily sherried whiskies at affordable prices!
Nose: Rich sherry, resinous, balsamic glaze, roast beef just out the oven. Sweetness then ensures on roasted chestnut, almond, blackcurrant and ripe plum.
Palate: Massively sherried, smooth and creamy before a richness from plum, raspberry, and delicious dark chocolate!
Finish: Medium, smooth and creamy
