A square bottle of 1980s Aberlour, from the days when they were still using the 'Glenlivet' suffix.
12 year old whisky from Aberlour, produced many moons ago and presented in a square bottle.
Please note as this is a vintage whisky, conditions of bottle/label and liquid level can vary.
Nose: Fruity, almost tropical, with a little oak.
Palate: Mild and well rounded. First comes a barrage of oak, then the fruity flavours set, while then again the nutty oak takes over the word.
Finish: Bittersweet, relatively much wood, nice nutty finish.
