The gin is based on the London Dry style but we call it a “Welsh Dry Gin”. It is made using Welsh water from the mountains around Aber Falls.
Botanicals used are very traditional, providing a traditional juniper forward gin, with a layered citrus edge and a slightly spicy and sweet backbone.
Distilled in copper pot stills, Welsh Dry Gin “leads with juniper and gives grapefruit, lemon and orange prominent roles”, while the finish is “subtly spicy and sweet”.
Aber Falls Welsh Dry Gin is bottled at 41.3% ABV.
