Whisky connoisseurs are now able to get their hands on an entirely Welsh-made whisky, as of Monday 30th August.
Crafted using 100% Welsh malted barley and rock-filtered water taken from the Aber Falls Waterfall, by a team of local people who are passionate about all things Wales. Our barrels are stored and matured in a traditional dunnage warehouse along the Menai Straits, before being bottled on site at the distillery.
This Aber Falls whisky has been distilled in a mix of copper pot and stainless-steel stills, and includes a mix of Oloroso sherry casks, PX sherry casks, Bourbon casks and Virgin Oak casks for a totally unique flavour.
Nose: Aromas of sweet fruits with a hint of clove.
Palate: A rich and full-bodied palate, with sweet sherry notes, dark chocolate and espresso.
Finish: It stimulates a long and lingering finish of dried fruit and subtle spice.
