Brick House Cigars are a tribute to family, tradition, and the timeless art of cigar making. Originally launched by J.C. Newman, the first Brick House was crafted as a true Cuban puro made from the finest Havana tobaccos. The brand takes its name and imagery from J.C.’s childhood home - the only brick house in his small Hungarian village. It was a place where locals and visitors gathered to share food, drink, conversation, and, of course, cigars. That sense of community and togetherness remains at the heart of Brick House today.
The Revival of a Classic
After the Great Depression forced the original line to close, Brick House was relaunched over 80 years later by J.C.’s grandsons, Eric and Bobby Newman. This time, the blend shifted to the rich soils of Nicaragua. Using 100% premium Nicaraguan tobaccos wrapped in a hearty Havana Subido™ wrapper, Brick House cigars deliver bold flavour and consistent craftsmanship. Each cigar is carefully aged and hand-rolled in Estelí, Nicaragua, ensuring superb quality and an authentic smoking experience.
