My regular UK smoking buddies and
I decided we would herf on to Paris for the weekend. All of us driving
convertible sports cars and smoking a variety of Cohiba Siglo IV's, Punch
Double Coronas and Saint Luis Rey Cabinet Selection Churchills to accompany us on the 250 mile journey from London to Paris. The weather was perfect, sunny blue skies and warm temperature. Plumes of smoke could be seen billowing through the sunroof! Friday evening we met up with our Parisian Havana smoking friends at the Casa del Habanos in Paris where we enjoyed a fine Mojito reception, superb food and the best of conversation and company. Hosted by the connoisseur, raconteur, and may I say gentleman...... Francois Yves Le Gal. Thank you Francois for a most memorable evening including the highlight, blind tasting of the robusto which I was very pleased to have recognised as being a Dunhill Cabinetta :-) Photos of the Paris Herf can be seen below! |
