MITCHELL'S BIG 40TH BIRTHDAY HERF 2004I decided to celebrate my big 40 in style with a double herf:-)....first herf was at the London office with a few of my regular smoking buddies where we decided to do a champagne tasting comprising of some divine 1988/1989 and 1990 Tatinger, Lanson and Krug champagnes matched up with some rather splendid pre embargo Punch Ideales. The office was filled with balloons (thanks Mish!) and needless to say a great evening was had by all ...in fact I had to ask the last few herfers to leave at 3 in the morning after we polished off a bottle of vintage 1970 Calvados (thanks Denis!)
The next big 40 herf was held at the
Churchill Cigar Divan where colleagues and friends ( including some
from across the Pond who kindly joined us) enjoyed some of the new
Limited Edition Maduros whilst Tom Jones puffed away on a Cohiba
Robusto on the next table to us (It's not unusual....badabadabada!)
Thanks to all for the kind wishes and
gifts......and they say life begins at 40 ;-)
