New Classic Edition range from SWISSCAVE - built in or freestanding unit with a large capacity of 166 Bordeaux bottles. Featuring a double glazed UV resistant door with a black handle, this unit looks great as a freestanding or when built into kitchen units.
With a wide operating temperature range of 5-20°C this unit is perfect for use as a service wine cooler or it can also be utilised as a long term storage unit for your collection since it has a charcoal filter. With 2 temperature zones you can use one zone for storage and one for service temperatures or both zones for serving temperatures.
The Classic edition offers a minimalistic style - you have the option to remove the handle or add display shelves and your wines will look great whilst being stored correctly.
What bottles will the WL455DF hold?
Swisscave products are designed around Bordeaux bottle of a length of up to 30-31cm and diameter of 7.5-8cm - The 'classic' edition of their wine coolers features less shelves so two layers of bottles will fit neatly between each shelf - we recommend stacking bottles of the same shape on each shelf.
Ventilation and Install requirements:
The WL455DF is designed as a front venting unit which means it can be used as a freestanding or a built in unit with cabinets built around it. If building cabinets around the wine cooler, it is best to leave 1cm to the rear of the unit and also bear in mind that the overhang on the Swisscave units is approximately 1.5cm - so to have the wine cooler sitting flush, this will need to be accounted for pre-purchase/installation.
