This great expression from Dalmore has a robust and formidable flavour, thanks to the effects of extended maturation in well chosen wood.

This annual limited edition begins its maturation journey in American white oak ex-bourbon casks, giving a base of soft vanilla and honey.

Further enhancement follows, with a longer finishing in 30 year old hand selected Matusalem Oloroso Sherry casks, exclusive to The Dalmore, from the Gonzalez Byass bodega in Spain.

The placing of these casks close to the cold, damp floor and walls of the dunnage warehouses at The Dalmore Distillery, allowing this whisky to reach its full potential: an exceptionally unique single malt with a rich, deep chocolate character.

A Masterpiece 21 years in the making.

This 2023-release was aged in a combination of ex-bourbon and Matusalem oloroso sherry casks.

These Sherry Casks are hand selected exclusively for The Dalmore from the world-renowned Gonzalez Byass bodega to create an extraordinary whisky full of character.

Master Whisky Maker Gregg Glass explains, “Only after 21 years can a whisky of this quality and depth emerge, creating a delectably distinguished Single Malt. The Dalmore 21 Year Old is a result of patience and craftsmanship which we’re tremendously proud to celebrate.
