Description

A bottle of John Haig & Co. Ltd. Gold Label Blended Scotch Whisky, sealed with a spring cap closure.

A bottle which carries a royal warrant by appointment to HM King George VI.

Although there is no size stated on the labels, this appears to be a 75cl bottle.

We estimate this was bottled in the 1940s.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Smooth and light with hints of fresh grass and lemon.

Palate: Very mild and smooth with a faint hint of spice from the malt as it takes hold in your mouth.
