JANUARY SALE - Montecristo Shorts Cigar - 10 x Packs of 10 Bundle Deal

I picked a couple of Montecristo Shorts expecting that classic Montecristo refinement in a quick, convenient format—but this one missed the mark for me. From the first light, the flavor came across a bit harsh, with a sharp edge that never really mellowed out. I was hoping for that creamy smoothness and balance Montecristo is known for, but instead, it leaned bitter and slightly acrid, even when I slowed down my draw. About halfway through, things went further downhill as the wrapper started to unravel. It’s frustrating when construction issues interrupt what little enjoyment you’re getting, especially from a brand with such a strong reputation. I tried to nurse it along, but the burn became uneven and the draw tightened up, making it more of a chore than a pleasure to finish. To be fair, the aroma had a pleasant woody note and there were glimpses of the signature Montecristo earthiness underneath the rough exterior—but they were fleeting. Overall, this cigar felt rushed and unrefined compared to their larger formats. Maybe I just got a bad stick, but for me, the Montecristo Shorts didn’t live up to the name. I’d reach for something else next time when I want a quick smoke.

Nice little Cuban short. Started out mild and got stronger toward the end. A nice middle ground between the Cohiba and Trinidad in terms of strength and flavour. 20 minute smoke that burned even and didn't break apart at all. Will be buying these again for sure.

Surprisingly better than I thought. 10 minute puff and more pleasant than the cigarillos. Preferred this to the Trinidad shorts

For what this is - a cheap, machine made mini cigar - it's pretty nice for a brief "coffee break" type of smoke. I'm still fairly new to the world of cigars, however I found this to be one of the smoothest & tastiest I've tried at this size/price range. It burned a little unevenly at first, but never split or flaked. Smoked it right down to the nub over about 15-20 minutes, but never found it too hot, sharp or harsh. Would recommend. Would definitely buy/smoke again.

A nice little smoke from Montecristo, with creamy and sweet notes throughout. Something to enjoy after dinner or on a short stroll and good value too.
