Elijah Craig Barrel Proof is a bold and honest expression of what charred oak barrel aging can do for Bourbon, from the man who originated the process.
Bottled at 68.3% and aged for a minimum of 12 years. This is uncut, straight from the barrel without chill filtering.
Nose: Rich chocolate cherries, stewed prunes, toffee, musty old books.
Palate: A slight hint of salty notes, with peanuts and warming from a little heat of jalapeño peppers.
