Cask Edit is an Islay Blended Malt composed of refill, bourbon and sherry casks and is bottled at 46% for the perfect balance of drinkability and personality. Rich, smoky single malt from Islay’s south coast marries together with a fresher, fruitier style from the north. Savour this whisky neat or enjoyed in your favourite whisky cocktail.
Bourbon Cask (54.5%) Elements of Islay Bourbon Cask is an Islay blended malt whisky that sits alongside Cask Edit and Sherry Cask. It is matured in first fill and refill bourbon barrels and is bottled at a higher strength of 54.5% to fully showcase the whisky’s natural personality. Classic rich barbecue smoke from a south coast Islay distillery combines with more subtle, zesty flavours from the north coast.
Sherry Cask (54.5%) Elements of Islay Sherry Cask is an Islay blended malt whisky that sits alongside Cask Edit and Bourbon Cask. It is matured in first fill and refill Sherry butts and hogsheads and is bottled at a higher strength of 54.5% to fully showcase the whisky’s natural personality. The flavours from the south coast distillery brings dried fruits and dark chocolate, while adding bright lemon and Arbroath smokie notes from the north coast distillery.
Elements of Islay Cask Edit - 46% 70cl
Nose: Sweet aromas of vanilla, amber-scented candles and fresh tropical fruits combine with a hint of peat smoke.
Palate: Rich barbecue smoke from a south-coast Islay distillery combines with subtle, zesty flavours from a north-coast distillery.
Finish: A chocolate-dusted cappuccino, warm vanilla-custard brioche and maple-syrup-poached tangy fruits appear, finishing with a roaring peat fire.
Elements of Islay Bourbon Cask - 54.5% 70cl
Nose: Aromas of vanilla, amber-scented candles, tropical fruit and a hint of peat smoke.
Palate: A palate of tangy fruits poached in maple syrup, barbecue smoke and vanilla custard.
Finish: A roaring peat fire of a finish.
Elements of Islay Sherry Cask - 54.5% 70cl
Nose: The result is a rich and spicy blend with aromas of tobacco, ginger, lemon and treacle toffee.
Palate: Apalate of candied orange, dark chocolate and crystallised ginger.
Finish: A sweet, smoky finish.
