Romeo y Julieta Escudos Maduro Cigar (Limited Edition - 2007) - 1 Single

Following up on my last review, what can i say ? Tried another of these and guess what ? It was worse than the first !! It selt like i was sucking a brick. When i lit the cigar i could feel how solid the tip was and i thought then that i was going to be fighting a losing battle. such a shame because there are some nice flavours in there somewherte !! Think i will stick to my MC Grand Edmondo.

I really struggled witht this. the draw was just too hard. it had some lovely flavours from the start and the burn was nice and even all the way throgh. But whats the point when you are struggling to get anything out of it. Being a novice maybe im doing it wrong !!! Is there something i should do when i get a cigar that wont let me get anything out of it ?? Maybe i will try another further down the line as the flavours were good.

If like me, you enjoy this brand, I have to recommend this cigar to you for smoking now, or even laying down in your humidor: The sample I tried had perfect draw and burn, with a wonderful sheen on the rapper; which was the only thing to fade while being smoked. The smooth subtle flavours developed and strengthened throughout, but never overpowered. It starts with a slight dark chocolate and exotic spice mix to the Cuban tobacco, that develops with well balanced sweetness and a gentle sea salt finish... with tropical woods coming through - adding to the intoxicating indulgence of the second half until the end... which comes to soon... though you’re still left with the full bodied aromas and wonderful tastes on your palate....
