Along with he Diplomaticos No.2, a great piramide that is often overlooked. Flavor and body start off medium but build quite strong by the 2nd half. Smoke these down to the nub and bring the Scotch!

I was on my honeymoon in Aruba this past September and across from my hotel The Allegro Resort was a small cigar shop in the plaza. I purchased 2 Vegas Robaina Unicos and smoked one of them on the beach. Let me tell you WOW! What flavour and very unique . A tad stronger than Monte but tremendous smoke ! This will be one of my next future buys!

A lovely easy medium to full bodied smoke with plenty of flavour. Chocolate/wood/leather. Burned beautifully, beautiful ash. Remined me a bit of a monte #2.

I think that out of all of my reviews on this site, I`ve only given one cigar five stars. This is the second five star cigar I`ve smoked - and for my money, this may just be the perfect Havana cigar. Comparisons are, of course, odious, but I`m afraid that this leaves the Diplomaticos #2 for dead and is a much more refined and smooth smoke than a Monte #2 - which, when consistent, is a fine cigar indeed. The Vegas Robaina Unicos is a mild to medium cigar with medium flavour - not quite as "in yer face" as its` Monte cousin. Montes are interesting smokes, but the Unicos are smooth as buttah in comparison. A woody and leathery taste - perfect draw (three months in the humi) - I absolutely can not rate this cigar higher and it is, without doubt, my favourite Havana smoke. Perfect with a 10 year old Talisker - or anything, for that matter. Go try some. You won`t be disappointed.

Unlike some of the other reviews here, I thought that this was a surprisingly mild cigar that didnt taste of very much at all. No criticism there, some people prefer the milder end of things, and thats just fine. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a daytime cigar or to a beginner looking for a first belicoso. Construction was (as expected from VR) flawless in all respects - shame it was so mild, but a very good cigar nevertheless

Hells teeth Mike, mild?? Man, I thought these chaps were well, brash in a full flavoury way. I must re-assess my taste. I used to really be unimpressed with these, but Ive had a few recently (a few months in the humidor usually levels things) and Id have to say that, well, I like them. They get better towards the middle and just keep coming on towards the band. Heavy leather and chocolate flavours, medium-long finish, Id smoke them again. Definitely improve with keeping.

Very woody with hints of espresso, medium to full bodied. Tight draw...takes some work to get these going. Second only to Bolivars in the nicotine buzz department. Fairly decent tasting cigar but not quite worth the work unless you really like a vertigo-inducing nicotine high. Hey, some of us do.
