this is the first cuban i ever smoked, definatly not a bad cigar it had an excellent draw and it cut easily. the strength was pretty mild and stayed mild through out. the construction was very good it was tightley wraped and burned evenly through out. flavour was not bad it had a woody aroma with a slight minty tast, not too much taste thou. on the whole it was pretty good. excellent beginners cigar if you are new to cubans. only dissapointing thing was the flavour. id still highley reccomend these thou. written by alex burton

I just tried my first one. It burns slower and cooler than the R&J Corona #3. Draws a bit hard, and is more earth, less spicy than the R&Js. Slightly pungent odor, but good. written by Michael

I’m still in the experimental stage of my cigar tasting. This aside I know good cigars and bad ones and this in my opinion is neither. In general the smoke starts off with a definite sweetness to it. This does change later on however too more woody notes but a sweetness is still present just not as prevalent as say a Punch Corona. I had quite a good draw on my one so didn’t experience the problems of previous reviewers. All in all it’s not the best cigar in the world but not the worst by a long way. A definate beginers favourite. written by nick

Not exactly Upmanns flagship. Too much wood in the flavour and too little complexity. The draw is not particularly good either. After lunch, at best. written by Mihai

A bit disappointing from all Id heard about Upmanns. It was an okay draw, but had an uncomfortable bite, and the flavor was a bit flat. written by SLH
