Tasting Notes: Ingenios can be described as extra special because they are the first ever Limited Edition release from Trinidad.
The size chosen is a classic – the Lonsdale (6 ½”/165mm x 42 Ring Gauge), or Cervantes as it is known in the factories. However this one bears the unique feature, common to all other Trinidad sizes, of having a twist of leaf, or pigtail, on its cap.
All the 2007 Limited Editions are special because, for the first time, all the tobaccos in the cigars – wrappers, binders and fillers - have been aged in bales for at least two years. In previous Limited Edition releases only the wrappers underwent the extra ageing process.
