Customers overwhelmingly praise the Punch Royal Seleccion No. 11 for its excellent construction and complex, evolving flavors, often noting its suitability for longer smoking sessions. While some find the initial third mild, the cigar generally builds in flavor and strength, offering good value and a consistently smooth experience without bitterness.
Ideal for those seeking a well-constructed, flavorful cigar that offers a long, evolving smoke and represents good value, especially suitable for newcomers to Cuban cigars due to its mild start.

This is the third cigar of three I purchased from C.gars on Monday and by far the largest and a second review has this is the second time i have smoked one of these.
This is without question a very fine cigar for any fine occasion or if you have the odd 2 hours to spare, the cigar it's self looks great with the larger Punch RE band and the Orchant Seleccion band virtually seamless construction and a large well defined cap, upon lighting the cigar the first third was very mild in strength and flavor so suitable even for a beginner to Cuban cigars the draw was medium as i think in most Punch cigars they are well filled with tobacco so very good value for money the second third and there onwards was more flavorsome with tangy citrus notes the strength stayed the same through out the smoke being quite mild having been aged for 5 years from 2007 will have helped, the ash was solid and white a sign of quality, I smoked this cigar to the last inch and still never became bitter or hot, I gave 4 stars as the first third was quite bland for my taste I recommend this cigar to newcomers as the flavor builds gradually and the strength is never overpowering

Boy were do i start I went into the Mayfair shop and was met by Daniel what a great guy and his knowledge of cigars was top notch. He sold me on this cigar and it did not let me down. The construction of this cigar is flawless and that just shows how much Mitchell cares about the cigars he puts his name on.From the first draw of this cigar you could tell the next hour was going to be very nice. I could pick up some cedar and a little cocoa at first then the cigar took off in the second third and if that wasnt enough Daniel poured me a nice scotch and that just opened up the cigar to so much more some earthy notes to a carmel finish. This cigar is priced great because i would put it up against cigars twice the price. Thanks Daniel and Mitch i had a great time down in Mayfair.

To the previous reviewer for another £1.80 you could have purchased one of these beautifully refined cigars personally selected by Mitchell Orchant and aged from 2007 a stunning looking cigar with a lovely taste and never overpowering strength I smoked this down to the last inch over 2 hours and it never became hot or bitter, Punch cigars are well filled with tobacco and exstremely good value for your money

I also commend C.Gars service having ordered this cigar on the Thursday it dully arrived on Friday.

Wow, what a cigar! I can’t believe no one has written a review for this one yet. It’s time to rectify.
The aroma of this cigar when unlit, invoked (in me) memories of classroom dust, dry wood and pencil lead from my long past school days.
It lit well and evenly, and the draw was fine and very easy. The huge clouds of smoke took me by surprise as I was out walking at the time and was amazed to see the artificial fog I was was beginning to create.
The burn was slightly jagged but in no way uneven, and the ash was a robust charcoal grey with flecks of ebony.
But what a taste! It was complex, rich and cedary with a solid back-bone of wood running through. The were toast notes, the merest hint of leather, and a surprisingly slight touch of menthol towards the end. The flavour just kept on coming, almost encouraging me to smoke this cigar down to my finger tips! It was an hour of pure pleasure, made all the more sweeter by the fact that the cigar was a gift from that legend amongst cigar aficionados; Mitchell Orchant. I had called into the Mayfair shop the day before and had had the privilege of meeting the man in person, and not only did he make me feel welcome but he made me feel I had know him personally for years!
Up until now, my favourite cigar had been an Upmann No2 but I seriously believe I have now found a new love (and just in time for Valentine’s Day!).
I’ll end my rambling with a quote from that great cigar smoker Mark Twain:
‘If there are no cigars in heaven, I shall not go.’
My take on the above is that if I can’t get this particular cigar in heaven, then I will seriously have to consider booking my place wherever it is available!
