The Puck 70% Humidity System - 50 cigars capacity

I am using this with my Prestige Chalet humidor and a Calibre 3. Started off with the humidifier supplied and found the humidity was sitting up at 75%, put this baby in instead and within 4 hours it had settled at 70%. It has now been at 70% for nearly 5 days, noticed a reading of 69% but I am happy with this. Great product and very low maintenance - ideal for a beginner or someone who doesn't have the time to faff. Looks a bit tacky though - won't mark down on that though because of the excellent functionality.

unlike the other reviewer not so impressed, and it is due to practicality rather than capability. to refill the beads with distilled water you need to remove the lid and the sponge and as the case is thin it makes it more difficult, the beads tend to spill all over the place. I now only use mine for my travel packs, that said when they have been filled they do a reasonable job, so only three stars from me

Ok, so my humidity levels were around 75 - 78% RH ( figures from 2 different hygrometers) and my cigars smoked poorly, then I swapped out my Adorini PG sponge humidifier and placed in the Puck! within a day my humidity is at 68% on my digital hygrometer and 70% on the hair hygrometer...now my cigars smoke really nicely. Points to note though, the puck will leave an odd smell in your humidor for about a week or so due to the fresh beads, smell will go and humidor will smell nice again. Top piece of kit for life, saves on the digital humidifiers too! Go and buy if you're having issues!
