I bought 5 of these along with 5 Nacionales and 6 Petit Cazadores, and was very disappointed with the Cazadores. None of them burned evenly and the draw was very poor. This is the second time I've bought this cigar, the first being very successful. I don't think, however, that after 4 bad cigars out of 5, I'll waste time on these again. The Nacionales and Petit Cazadores were much better.

THIS WAS A SUPRISE. I was thinking these were not going to be great shakes. I picked some up in cuba a while ago and brilliant they were. There were fantastically inexpensive out there (£2.50). The burn was nice and even. The burn was very slow for that matter. The ash held on well. Flavour wise they were a bit bitter and grassy (young tobacco) but a pleasant flavour profile followed; light spice, cedar, coffee and weirdly mustard (gave a nice little kick). Buy some, put away for 6 months and they will be ace, authentic, cuban smokes. BA HUMBUG to those cigar snobs who turn there nose up to anything that isn't a cohiba or a trinidad (both of which i tried).

Great Smoke with an o.k construction with a bit of an uneven roll overall, fairly simple band. Although big points on flavours and texture. Great for an everyday smoke, inexpensive cubans to satisfy any cigar smoker both in price and overall experience.

Not bad! But not great either. The roll was a bit soft about an inch from the cap, not good. On lighting though it burnt evenly but due to the softness of the roll smoked very quickly. i expected it to take about 45 mins but i was done after 25! It started off very mellow for the first half but did develop some flavour in the 2nd half. There was no bitterness and towards the end some faint vanillery leather notes did come through. It's ok for a quick daytime smoke, and it's still way better than non cubans but i was a bit disappointed. Shame really as i like the nacionales. i'll probably get a few more though as it has an inoffensive aroma to the non smokers in the household!

I smoked my last cigar in my sample set and this was the last one I thought it was one of the nicest in my box, very smooth i have had it in my humidor for a year so i dont know if that added to the taste. I actually came back on here to buy somemore, lovely smoke please try it. Thanks Ian Ripper

I thought that for the price these cigars were not too bad but they tasted rather bitter and not very complex. Although I had matured it in my humidor for a while it still tasted very undeveloped and un matured. However I only had one and I may have been unlucky enough to have a bad one.

I have smoked Cazadores and for the price you pay, your not getting a bad smoke at all. Sure there are better smokes out there but if your looking for an every day smoke to enjoy in the afternoon with a nice coffee which has been freshly ground, you wont go far wrong.

Very similar to Piedra Nacionales, just a little longer. Starting off very mild, but by mid-smoke developing into a very satisfying smoke. Towards the end can they be a bit harsh, but still acceptable, especially with a nice shiraz cabernet. Nice leathery texture and taste, with hints of spice, vanilla, and (in my opinion) pepper. As a no-frills Cuban cigar, these are excellent value for money. Would say the Nacionales are slightly better. I really enjoy Piedra cigars. They may be much maligned by pretentious Connoisseurs but those in the know would argue differently. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend these. 4/5 is my assessment. Order some and just enjoy.....
