The packaging has all the usual hallmarks of Holger Danske; a Snekkja Longship, a gold band, the arched text of the brand.
Opening it reveals the tobacco that is of the usual high quality for Holger Danske with short cut, medium wide ribbons that pack well and light like a dream. Colours ranging from golden brown to chestnut with deeper black flecks mottling the weave of tobaccos.
The smell arising from the pouch is first and foremost of tobaccos with wisps of Bourbon Whiskey. Upon lighting, the aromas of the casing and topping become more apparent but never overpower.
A balanced, deep, top flavour is dissolved into Bourbon whiskey, which emphasizes the mellow flavoured and character of this truly individual mixture.
