The beginners guild to purchasing cigars, first of all Cuban cigars are regarded as the best cigars in the world so choosing other cigars which may be cheaper may still work out dearer in the long run, DON'T buy a box of cigars just because they are a well known brand cigar enjoyment is a very personal thing and what is a great smoke to one person may be overpowering and unpleasant to another, the first thing to choose is the size of your cigar obviously larger cigars are more expensive but will also depend on your personality if you have a affluent personality you will probably go for a larger cigar but if you are new to cigars and a little bit self conscious a smaller cigar would be more appropriate the PETIT CORONA is the most popular cigar size in the world and a good place to start that can be enjoyed at anytime of the day or night, the next issue is the strength and taste of a cigar, different cigar makers are renowned for producing different strength cigars if you are new to cigars then better starting mild then working up to stronger more flavorsome cigar, Sampling cigars can become a very interesting hobby. So how do I know when to buy a box of cigars? You cannot base this choice on smoking just one cigar, I would advise smoking 5 of your chosen cigar and giving each cigar an enjoyment rating out of 100 another factor is the doubt factor I.E. Could I do better? so give a positive enjoyment rating then subtract the doubt rating if you go below 50% then move onto another cigar, when you can get above 80% after subtracting the doubt factor then consider buying a box.
