  • A most excellent Julieta 2 sized Havana, although I much prefer the cabinet selection to the dress box, as the box pressed version can be a tad tight on the draw. Aromatic, full flavoured, spicy and full strength. Rich but balanced with a heavy aroma that is typical Bolivar.

The aged one i bought had a tight draw and an acrid, bland flavour. It seemed not only a problem caused by the tight construction but also of inferior tobacco. Junk remains junk however well you age it. A real shame because a good Boli CG can be incredible.


A Beautiful smoke and that capital B was intentional. Went over to a friends the other night to enjoy a few drinks and smokes and took this little beauty along for the ride. Easy on the draw, not too harsh on the throat, subtle flavours throughout. The smoke lasted around an hour or so without over working it, no need to relight and a lovely even burn to the end. The only negative I have is the disappointment when it finally came to an end. A really enjoyable smoke, one I will invest in again.


Usually a robusto man myself, but I bought a box of these for special occasions when I could afford the hour and a half plus time to enjoy. I thought the first I smoked was a little average, but a decent smoke nonetheless. However, after aging just under a year I thought I'd give them another go. All I can say is that it was well worth the wait! Beautiful, if quite a simple smoke. I agree with Thomas that these pack a punch!


If you are looking for a Havana with with some serious punch Bolivar is the way to go! This is one of the best in the Bolivar line up along with the Belicosos Finos.

