HOW TO REDUCE / COMBAT UNEVEN BURNING ISSUES (CANOEING) (1)Calibrate your hygrometer using the salt method then store your cigars in your humidor between 65 - 70 RH better nearer 65, there are more problems with over humidified cigars I.E. mold, wrappers splitting, uneven burning above 75 RH than slightly under humidified cigars 63 RH. light your cigar evenly and don't rush the process, Rotate your cigar a quadrant 90dg after each draw to even out the temperature at the foot, if minor burning issues come into play, Hold your cigar horizontally, Rotate the cigar clockwise (for a right handed person) until the far edge (not end) of the uneven unburnt wrapper is just below the Apex (top) of the cigar towards you, you will start to see the uneven unburnt wrapper start to burn radially around the cigar especially if you have just taken a draw, keep rotating the cigar slightly keeping the edge just below the top until the burn is even, then get back to enjoying your cigar.
