The Vistamar Sepia Reserva Pinot Noir has aromas of fresh raspberries and cherries with notes of mocha and chocolate.
Vistamar Sepia Reserva Pinot Noir is made from grapes grown Casabalanca in Central Chile with soils that are granitic on the plains and clay on the hillsides.
The climate is highly influenced by the Pacific Ocean, ensuring that grapes ripen slowly. The grapes ripened slowly in 2015 and thus the grapes developed more intense flavours of dark berry fruits and spice with juicy notes and a soft velvety texture.
It is aged in French oak barrels for 8 months which enhances the soft texture.
The fresh and elegant, with juicy acidity and a texture of silk and velvet of this Pinot Noir make it a great match with seared tuna, salmon, carpaccio beef and magret of duck.
On the nose there are expressive aromas of fresh raspberries and cherries, intertwined with notes of caramel and chocolate.
It is fresh, elegant and voluptuous in the mouth giving a juicy, fruity sensation with a smooth, velvety texture supported by a fresh sensation that, together with its toasted notes, provides a pleasant, complex finish.
