Tullibardine 228 Burgundy Cask Finish - 43% 70cl

Whisky with a burgundy finish is definitely a match made in heaven.

As you pour this fine dram, you're greeted with the aroma of sweet wines, fruity with hints of nougat. It almost seems a shame to drink such a fine smelling whisky!

The burn is certainly there in the first sip, but it's just a slight tease. Then come the rushing flavours of cream and fruit, nut and vanilla. This soon gives way to a long and sweet finish of plum and red berries.

All in all this is a fantastic whisky, will 100% be trying this again
