I have wanted to try these for ages and recently finally bought a pack. Snipped it in half, had half last night and the other this morning. Upon lighting I was worried it would be a really harsh smoke but this really isn't the case, worth taking your time over (and even putting it down for a couple of minutes every now and then because it stays alight well, plus this helps keep it cool and mellow). The taste mellows out as you go with a surprising amount going on, picking up quite strong black coffee like notes and earth but with a surprisingly light creamy texture. Brilliant value and a very enjoyable smoke.

Ordered my second pack. Love 'em. Great flavours. Nice firm build., and the oily sheen! Love the feel in my fingers. They look so unusual. Only today, both Sophia Loren AND Claudia Cardinale told me that they love the aroma. (HONEST)

You must try these; complex flavours as you smoke it down; very long lasting ( all day if you let it rest occassionaly & then re-light it). Let it hang in your mouth like a pipe. Ideal for fishermen , drivers, or anyone with time on their hands.Does not go soggy in the mouth. Roll it around your mouth like The Man With No Name in the westerns !

continued... As a bonus, the Toscano Classico can be (and, according to the web, often is) snipped in two (horror of horrors) with a cigar cutter to make two smaller smokes. Toscano Classico is a smoker’s cigar, not to be sneered at. Recommended - try a couple!

Inconsistent in shape, heavily veined and knobbly, the Toscano Classico has perhaps the most rustic appearance of any cigar The delicious unlit bouquet is reminiscent of pipe tobacco. Lights easily but do take a little extra care when lighting to avoid an uneven burn. Very easy draw from the start, slow burning and long lasing, lots of complex, luscious, spicy smoke. Mild one minute, gently but firmly gritty the next, each draught seems different. Very satisfying, to the last. Just a couple of caveats: For me, the Toscano Classico is too intense for a morning or lunchtime smoke and I find no trace of nuttiness so if it is nuttiness that you enjoy, these may not be for you. Also, these can be quite bitter if smoked too dry and is slow take up moisture, so allow at least one month (two months if left in their cellophane wrappers) in your humidor, unless you are certain that they have been kept in perfect conditions. I prefer to store them at the upper end of humidity (72-73%) As a bonus, the Toscano Classico can be (and, according to the web, often is) snipped in two (horror of horrors) with a cigar cutter to make two smaller smokes. Toscano Classico is a smoker’s cigar, not to be sneered at. Recommended - try a couple!
