This limited edition is the oldest of three Tomatin limited editions released in September 2016, this was distilled on 16 June 1995.
Each of the expressions are bottled at a strength of 46% and are set apart by the distinctive cask maturations.
Matured in traditional Scotch Whisky oak casks for just under 18 years, this was then transferred to Oloroso Sherry hogsheads.
Just a limited release of just over 1,900 bottles have been produced!
A rich whisky with heavy, dried fruits with a rich sherry, honeyed oak spice nicely combined with dark chocolate.
Warmed by wood spice, there is a hint of sweetness from honey and more dried fruits.
