World Whiskies Awards - Brand Innovators of the Year 2016, Douglas Laing & Co. proudly unveil Timorous Beastie 21 Years Old Limited Edition carrying a big sherry influence, with the liquid still unmistakably a Timorous Beastie.
It displays sweet barley, honey and spices, with new and explosive dimensions delivered by the long maturation and the sherry cask influence.
Only a limited number of 2718 bottles were produced.
70cl Vol | 46.8% ABV.
Nose: A glorious opening, warming to Oloroso Sherry, barley and soft, macerated summer fruits.
Palate: Spicy and gristly with notes of honey and raisins enhanced by crunched demerara sugar.
Finish: Savour the warm peppery finish, with rich tones of cocoa, vanilla and burnt meringue.
