A very popular blend, rated very highly by Jim Murray who awarded it 90 points in his Whisky Bible.
Complete with its (at the time) trademark gold cap.
Please note as this is a vintage whisky, conditions of bottle/label and liquid level can vary
Nose: A blast of apricots, a slice of banana, some macerated raisins, a touch of smoke, vanilla and fruit loaf.
Palate: Creamy, there is a light waft of smoke that comes through more for me here with strawberries and cream in the background.
Finish: Smooth. Far from a layered experience it is easily drinkable.
