Matured for more than 35 years and with a fantastic natural colour, this Strathisla was bottled at 43% ABV and presented in a G&M packaged box.
AROMA WITHOUT WATER:
Rich fruit cake notes with hints of stewed prunes. A hint of mixed spice emerges and a touch of milk chocolate sweetness.
TASTE WITHOUT WATER:
Gentle and warming with a burst of menthol freshness. A sherried edge lingers and a touch of chilli spices. Creamy with fruity influences.
AROMA WITH WATER:
Pronounced Sherry influences with Christmas cake notes. Heavily fruity with a sherried edge.
TASTE WITH WATER:
Delicate with a defined freshness. Hints of rum and raisin and a subtle hint of sherry. Some mixed spices and a marshmallow sweetness.
