A complex 1960 vintage whisky from the Strathisla distillery, this was bottled by Gordon and MacPhail having been matured in a first fill sherry butt.
70cl bottling, bottled at 43% ABV, this Stathisla has been packed in a stunning Gordon & Maphail Strathisla 1960 presented presentation box. Described by the producers as a "Full-bodied Speysider," this is a whisky to be had.

Nose: Sherried and full with notes of cut herbs and mixed fruits. Notes of butterscotch and banoffee pie follow as smoke plumes give combine with gentle petals and sherried raisins.
Palate: Of good body with notes of sultanas with a cereal sweetness and barley sugars. There are good charred oak notes with a heavy smoke.
Finish: Long and developing with wood smoke rising.
