Exclusive to the UK, this Springbank is the 2016 release of the 21 Year Old which has been bottled at cask strength.
Only a limited number of 702 bottles were produced but this 21 Year Old is expected to offer light peat which we have come to know and love from this Campbeltown distillery.
Drawn from single Oloroso Sherry butt at a natural strength and bottled at 49.6% ABV,

Nose: Heather, plums and peach combine as honey then appears. There’s a slight waxy note too with a little bit of leather.
Palate: Very soft, with caramelised fruit and raisins and cassis. The spices include cinnamon and vanilla and there’s some oaky dryness which balances out the honey.
Finish: Very long with hints of aniseed and raisin sweetness.
